W Barcelona presents SUN DECK, the city’s newest terrace and infinity pool, designed to make the most of Barcelona’s hot summer days and lively seafront setting. Commanding panoramic, breath-taking views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea, the new SUN DECK boasts an 8 by 18 metres pool that stretches across the beachfront.

The minimalist design of the SUN DECK with its Brazilian walnut (ipe wood) deck and cool white furnishings continues the modern and innovative theme of the entire hotel, giving the striking views of the shore and distant mountains priority of place. This new terrace is the perfect place to wind down and enjoy the sparkling views along the lively Barceloneta coast.
The SUN DECK perfectly complements the hotel’s WET®DECK, which has become a hot spot for party people during the past five years.
With the opening of the new SUN DECK, W Barcelona now offers two unique poolside and beachfront spaces for guests and visitors. The WOW Cabanas from the SUN DECK can be rented for 250 Euro to 500 Euro/day.
Offering prime poolside positions, the SUN DECK’s three WOW CABANAS and one EXTREME WOW Cabana with Jacuzzi are furnished with spacious and comfortable sun beds, minibar, TV and sound system. British designer William Tempest has created a limited edition swimwear collection inspired by W Barcelona.
For this summer season the iconic W Barcelona is collaborating with young, emerging British fashion designer, William Tempest, to create a limited-edition men’s and women’s swimwear collection. Featuring a women’s bikini and men’s swim trunks, the swimwear is inspired by the buzzing energy and vibrant colours of the coastal Barceloneta district, home to the landmark hotel.
