Since May, the hotel’s guests have at their disposal the speedboat Il Doge, for pleasant trips around the Lagoon, to discover the most exclusive Venetian spots from a very special sea level point of view.

The Classic Excursion – 4 hours
Discover the magic and heritage behind the exquisite glass of Murano, the colored houses and laces of Burano, and the traditions of the fascinating island of Torcello with its stories and legends including the famous bell tower and the throne of Attila.
Lagoon archeology Excursion– 2 hours
An introduction to the most important and fascinating archaeological sites: the mysterious Lazzaretto Vecchio, Sant’Erasmo island with its beautiful gardens, the island of Vignole and the island of St. Andrew connected by a single bridge.
An Art Excursion – 5/6 hours
Art is present on many of the Lagoon islands. Discover Santa Maria delle Grazie, San Lazzaro degli Armeni with its historic monastery, the international university of San Servolo, the church of San Giorgio and Santa Cristina.
Bird watching Excursion – 4 hours
A fascinating nature tour that will disclose to the guests the islands of San Francesco del Deserto, Sant’Erasmo and the barene: salt marshes of tabular land very important for the ecology of the lagoon where a great variety of greenery host many different species of birds. The itinerary also includes Burano, Torcello, the beautiful island of Mazzorbo and the island of Murano.
The Fisherman Excursion – 4 hours or 8 hours including lunch
Unlock the traditions of sea-fishing in the lagoons. Delight in a lunch of the freshest fish and journey from Venice’s Lido down to the Alberoni, returning to Venice via Fusina at the historic delta of the Brenta River.
The Aquariva boat can accommodate up to 7 people, including the captain. The hourly rate is € 350. The boat might be booked for a minimum of two hours.
