Treeline Urban Resort it’s the brainchild of Cambodian designer Hok Kang who’s looking to add “an innovative urban style”—to quote the official website—“to the local hotel scene.” The property takes its name from the Angkorian trees that seem to mystically wrap themselves around the famous ruins.

Of the hotel’s stylish contemporary guest rooms, the suites on the third floor come with a living area with dining table and spacious bathrooms with two sinks, rain shower and bathtub. These Executive Suites have views over the lush courtyard, swimming pool, or the river.

Here’s what to expect in terms of facilities at the Treeline Urban Resort. The Suri Spa showcases natural products made onsite or in the neighboring province. There’s an array of F&B outlets, including Brown Coffee Shop for high quality specialty coffee (opened in April 2018) and a dedicated breakfast restaurant called Seed. Lunch and dinner will be served at the lively Hok Noodle Bar & Grill, a Pan-Asian restaurant serving tapas for sharing, individual noodle broths, and stir-fries—all washed down with cocktails. Signature drinks are also served poolside at the Canopy Bar, where snacks and smoothies also star on the menu.
