The Lind Hotels is set to open The Lind Coron in 2027, marking the homegrown Filipino hospitality brand’s expansion into Palawan and a return to the destination where its story first began.
When The Lind Coron opens in 2027, it will mark far more than the expansion of a successful Philippine hospitality brand. The resort will bring The Lind Hotels back to the island where its journey first began, completing a vision more than a decade in the making.
Coron was the company’s first property acquisition and the original setting in which the idea for The Lind Hotels started to take shape. Yet rather than immediately developing the site, the company made the strategic decision to introduce its hospitality concept in Boracay, already one of the Philippines’ best-known tourism destinations.
That decision provided the brand with a solid platform from which to evolve. During the decade that followed, The Lind Boracay established itself as an internationally recognized resort, earning multiple accolades and becoming the first hotel on the island to be included in the MICHELIN Guide. Its success helped define The Lind’s approach to contemporary island hospitality: thoughtful service, distinctive dining and architecture designed around the character of each destination.
Now, the opening of The Lind Coron will bring that experience back to the place where the brand’s ambitions first took root.

A Resort Shaped by Its Surroundings
Located within one of Palawan’s most spectacular natural landscapes, The Lind Coron will be surrounded by dramatic limestone formations, crystalline turquoise waters, secluded lagoons and an underwater world rich in coral reefs and marine life.
The resort is being conceived as a place from which guests can experience Coron according to their own rhythm. Days might begin with an early boat journey through the archipelago, continue with a dive among historic shipwrecks and end with a quiet afternoon beside a private pool. Those seeking a slower escape will be equally well accommodated, with the resort designed to encourage unhurried moments overlooking the sea.
The Lind Coron will feature 91 rooms and villas, balancing privacy with a sense of connection to the destination. Private villas will include individual dipping pools, creating intimate spaces for peaceful afternoons and time spent away from the island’s more adventurous pursuits.
Guests staying in the villas will also benefit from the assistance of a dedicated Villa Host. The service is intended to provide a more personal and intuitive experience throughout the stay, from coordinating daily activities to anticipating individual preferences.
The emphasis will be on hospitality that feels attentive without being intrusive, allowing guests to enjoy the destination with the confidence that every practical detail has been considered.
Dining with a View
Food will form an important part of The Lind Coron experience, with two distinctive dining concepts planned for the resort.
Yím, the property’s signature modern Thai restaurant, will introduce the aromatic flavours and expressive culinary traditions of Thailand through a contemporary lens. Its presence will add an international dimension to Coron’s growing dining scene and provide guests with an experience that goes beyond the conventions of a traditional resort restaurant.
Crust, meanwhile, will occupy a central position within the Main House, beside the infinity pool. Designed with both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant will open towards sweeping views of the sea and serve as a natural meeting point throughout the day.
Its menu will be inspired by Mediterranean flavours, complemented by a selection of locally crafted beverages. Whether guests arrive for a relaxed lunch after a morning on the water, sunset drinks beside the pool or an informal dinner with friends, Crust is envisioned as the social heart of the resort.
From Island Adventures to Restorative Rituals
Coron is one of the Philippines’ most compelling destinations for travellers drawn to the water. The Lind Coron will make exploring its marine landscapes especially accessible through an on-site dive centre operated by one of the country’s diving pioneers, a team with experience working alongside leading hospitality brands.
Guests will be able to spend their days island-hopping, entering hidden lagoons, swimming in clear waters or discovering colourful reef ecosystems beneath the surface. The World War II shipwrecks located just in front of the property will place one of Coron’s most distinctive underwater experiences within easy reach of the resort.
These wrecks have helped establish Coron as an internationally admired diving destination, offering a fascinating combination of marine biodiversity and history. Their proximity will allow both experienced divers and curious newcomers to explore a remarkable underwater heritage without travelling far from the property.
After a day of adventure, guests will be able to retreat to The Spa Wellness Coron. The opening will bring one of the Philippines’ most established names in relaxation and holistic care to Palawan. Recognized as the country’s first spa brand to achieve Superbrand status, The Spa will offer a calming counterpoint to Coron’s more active experiences.
Its treatments will focus on rest, recovery and holistic well-being, creating a peaceful environment in which guests can slow down and reconnect. In a destination shaped by movement, exploration and the elements, the spa will provide space for stillness.
Celebrations Above the Sea
The Lind Coron is also being designed as a destination for weddings, celebrations, private gatherings and corporate events. Its indoor and outdoor venues will make full use of the surrounding scenery, ensuring that the natural environment remains central to every occasion.
The Gallery, an indoor venue accommodating up to 200 guests, will feature panoramic views of the sea. The Cove will bring events outdoors, offering a more relaxed setting immersed in the tropical landscape.
At the highest point of the resort, the Roof Deck will provide uninterrupted 360-degree views across the sea, mountains and lush vegetation. The elevated setting is expected to become one of the property’s most memorable locations, particularly for wedding ceremonies, proposals and intimate celebrations at sunset.
“We aim to create a resort that belongs in its setting rather than competes with it,” Henrichs adds. “We want guests to experience the beauty, authenticity and adventure of Coron while enjoying the hospitality and service they have come to associate with The Lind Hotels.”
