SURPRISE PERFORMANCE BY NE-YO DURING THE LAST DAY OF IPW 2017

After a week of presentations, press conferences and over a hundred thousand one-on-one business meetings, IPW 2017 in Washington D.C. wrapped up on the 7th of June with a surprise performance of Ne-Yo during the luncheon sponsored by Experience Kissimmee and Universal Orlando Resort.

At the final luncheon  on Wednesday (7th of June), sponsored by Experience Kissimmee, IPW guests were treated to a surprise performance by American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor Ne-Yo, whose hits “Closer” and “Miss Independent,” made it to the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

The U.S. Travel Association’s IPW is the single largest generator of international travel to the U.S. This year, over the course of the past few days, a record number of pre-scheduled meetings (over 112,000) were conducted between U.S. travel suppliers and travel buyers from around the world. These meeting at IPW and the travel initiated by them, are expected to bring over $4.7 billion US in direct bookings to U.S. destinations from abroad over the next three years, according to research from Rockport Analytics.

This year, IPW sent a unified message to all international buyers, media and potential visitors in attendance, that the United States was open for business and that the world was welcome…”One Big Welcome”, the name of the U.S Travel Association’s newest campaign, was on full display throughout the event.
