SOHO ROC HOUSE, THE NEW HOTEL TO STAY IN MYKONOS

News

After Mumbai and Barcelona, Soho House opens the doors of a new waterfront hotel in Mykonos called Soho Roc House.

Originally known for its urban hotels, from Berlin to London to New York, the Soho House group now occupies some of the most beautiful beaches around the world. Based in Miami or in the small fishing village of Garraf, the hotel group is setting down its suitcases this summer in Mykonos.

The venue has 45 rooms, a swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant with Mediterranean accents but above all a private beach (in place of the famous Beach Club Scorpios).

Inspired by the Cycladic style, the decoration is based on light colors and raw materials such as wood, stone and linen. Outside, visitors can admire an old restored chapel in the shade of the olive trees.

Local and fresh-from-the-market ingredients are used to create Mediterranean dishes at the on-site restaurant. Depending on the day’s fare, the regularly changing menu will include dishes like grilled Octopus, fresh mussels with tomato and chili or grilled fillet of beef and roasted vegetables out of our brick oven. American breakfast can be enjoyed daily.

Mykonos airport and the picturesque center of Mykonos town are only a 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
