Small Luxury Hotels of the World has added new hotels in Italy and Greece to its portfolio, each one ideal for couple and family summer getaways. The hotels offer history, culture, and attractions like picking up new culinary skills for a Tuscan feast, learning a traditional Apulian tarantella dance, discovering new sights on a Vespa with a significant other, or spending a day of watersports with the family.
Eagles Villas: Halkidiki, Greece
Set on a hillside on the Halkidiki Peninsula in northern Greece, this collection of luxury sea-view villas with private heated plunge pools is a newly created extension to Eagles Palace. Note: Each villa has views towards Mount Athos and the Aegean Sea.

Hotel Vilòn: Rome, Italy
This boutique hotel in the heart of Rome is a short trip away from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and the shopping district. The revived historic mansion in the Campo Marzio neighborhood used to be a convent and dates back to the mid-16th century when it was known as the “House annexed to Palazzo Borghese”.
