RUN, REST, REJUVENATE AT JUMEIRAH PORT SOLLER, MALLORCA
Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa has created the ultimate marathon package, offering runners the perfect base from which to undertake this gruelling race.
Around 10,000 participants are set to descend on Mallorca for the Palma de Mallorca Marathon on October 18. From 17-20 October, Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa is supporting runners in the lead up to the race by offering a luxurious retreat.
On marathon day, runners will be transported to and from the event, ensuring a stress-free start to the race. They can also enjoy a specially designed menu to rejuvenate and restore the body. For any aches and pains following the marathon, runners can take advantage of the impressive spa facilities and enjoy a 20% discount on spa treatments.
This year, the Palma de Mallorca Marathon replaces the former TUI marathon after 11 successful years. Runners will follow an incredible urban course, taking in some of Mallorca’s most stunning sites around Palma Bay including Palma’s Cathedral and the promenade.
Built on a cliff overlooking Port Soller, Jumeriah Port Soller Hotel and Spa enjoys uninterrupted sea views and has a dramatic backdrop of the mountains. The village is famous for its horseshoe bay and picturesque port, which can be accessed using the free shuttle transfer provided by the hotel or by foot. It occupies one of the most idyllic sites on the island, in the heart of the Soller valley, renowned for its orange, lemon and olive orchards.
The ‘Runner’s Retreat’ package is priced at €354 per room per night for a Deluxe Mountain View and is available between 17-20 October 2015.
