REFINED TEA CLASSES AT THE RITZ-CARLTON, BERLIN

The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin, offers tea lovers exclusive experiences for all the senses: the trained Tea Masters® of the prestigious hotel, Sandra Rosenmüller and Burak Köseoglu, invite their guests to a culinary journey into the world of aromas, showing them how to recognise and prepare the perfect tea.

For these educational experiences, the two tea experts work with the exquisite aromas of the French Mariage Frères gourmet brand. In Germany, this brand is exclusively served at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin. The tea experts acquired their knowledge in India at the Tea Master® training.

During the three hour tea classes, guests learn everything worth knowing about the origin, production and processing of the exquisite tea varieties and their exact preparation. They also receive tips on how to indulge their own guests at home with an entirely personal tea ceremony. The in-house patisserie of The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin will pair delicacies with the exquisite aromas from around the world. Homemade scones with clotted cream, fine little cakes and hearty treats round off the pleasurable afternoon in one of the salons of the five-star superior hotel on Potsdamer Platz.

The Saturday afternoon tea classes take place on 5 March, 16 April, 14 May, 10 June, 2 July, 6 August, 17 September and 22 October 2016. They cost 49 Euros per person. Reservations can be made at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin, by email to network.berlin@ritzcarlton.com.

There is also a daily traditional Afternoon Tea between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Tea Lounge of The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin throughout the year for all tea lovers. Live piano sounds also accompany the special and relaxing character of the tea ceremony from Thursday to Sunday during the spring, autumn and winter months.
