PALAZZO PARIGI HOTEL, MILAN UNVEILS ITS CHIC PRESIDENTIAL SUITE
Designed as a home-away-from-home in Italy’s fashionable capital city, the Presidential Suite of Palazzo Parigi Hotel in Milan offers the luxury private apartment with unrivaled views of Milan’s iconic landmarks.
There’s nothing quite like “summering” in an Italian Palace and this year Milan beckons with its newest jewel – the unveiling of the Presidential Suite at Palazzo Parigi, designed in the style of an intimate and comfortable luxury private apartment at the very top of Milan.
Located just minutes away from Via Monte Napoleone, Via della Spiga, the Scala Theater and the city’s imposing Duomo, Palazzo Parigi is Milan’s newest five-star hotel in the city’s historic center. The gracious hotel has risen on the site of the former circa 1600s Palazzo Cramer in Via Brera, the fashionable heart of Milan.
The hotel’s elegant exterior was envisioned and achieved by the architect and owner, Paola Giambelli, in partnership with Pierre Yves Rochon, whose name is attributed to the world’s most sophisticated hotels.
A member of Leading Hotels of the World, Palazzo Parigi is distinguished by many features unique in the city center, including a century-old private garden and fountain. Sixty-five spacious guest rooms and 33 suites are individually designed and distinctively appointed with hand-selected art work, marble, rich woods and lush fabrics. Expansive windows and private terraces offer striking garden or city views and ensure that the rooms are awash in natural daylight, a rarity in the bustling city.
At the pinnacle of the hotel’s luxurious accommodations lies the 250 square meter Presidential Suite, offering discerning guests a true sense of home.
The natural light and warm tones of the boiseries – elegant carved wood paneling –conjure a private-residence feel while the spacious 110 square meter terrace boasts unparalleled views of the city. Its circular path going all around the suite allows guests to enjoy Milan’s extensive skyline from the iconic Duomo and the magnificent Madonnina statue posed at its top, to the dome of the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle, the Sforzesco Castle, the Church of San Marco, the skyscrapers over Porta Nuova, and the majestic silhouette of the Alps towering to the north.
To let the city in, Giambelli chose vast, sunlit glass windows throughout the living room and bedroom, allowing guests to enjoy the views of Milan throughout the day and night. Each detail and architectural feature has been carefully looked after to offer a unique level of service and comfort. As an example, the positions of the bed and bathtub were strategically chosen so guests can enjoy the magical view on the Madonnina from their bedroom or while relaxing in a hot bath.
The spacious living room offers guests a large and comfortable setting for entertaining visitors, spending time with family, or enjoying some leisure time in a quiet haven and is equipped with two sofas, antique rugs, an antique writing table, a bookcase, a 75” television and Bang & Olufsen AirPlay surround sound system.
The bathroom features a private Turkish hamam bath decorated in marble mosaics. All the furnishings in the Suite have been custom designed with the most lavish and exceptional materials: the floor of the living room consists of 5-meter boards of distressed oak, and the foyer and all the bathrooms are clad in Calacatta marble.
Nightly rates for the Presidential Suite at Palazzo Parigi start at about $16,000, which includes butler service.
