MOXY HOTELS DEBUTS IN FRANKFURT, GERMANY
Moxy Hotels, Marriott’s bold lifestyle hotel brand, continues to shake up traditional hospitality with the opening of its brand new outpost in Eschborn, Frankfurt. Moxy Frankfurt Eschborn joins Moxy Munich Airport as the brand’s second experiential select service hotel in Germany.
Located in Eschborn, just 15 minutes by car or train from Frankfurt, the 176 contemporary guest rooms are outfitted with sound-reducing walls, 42″ LCD flat screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, comfortable bedding and deep-seated armchairs in calming, neutral fabrics. Every bedroom makes a statement with a fun floor to ceiling art piece. The design is functional and uncluttered with simple, thoughtful touches including glass shelving and open closets. Stylish bathrooms feature complimentary Muk toiletries, bright pink hair dryers, power showers and large mirrors alongside a spacious vanity area.
Moxy’s B&F (Beverage & Food) strategy was thoughtfully designed with the target audience in mind – seamless, smart and fun. Moxy Frankfurt Eschborn’s 24/7 self-service concept gives guests access to what they want, whenever they want it. The Moxy dining area offers plentiful options for food and drink including fresh juices and a coffee bar. Guests can enjoy fresh panini sandwiches, local dishes including Spätzle and Sauerbraten and a range of healthy alternatives from salad to antipasti. Cocktails, craft beers and specialty wines will be served.
Moxy Frankfurt Eschborn’s living room is the centre of activity, giving guests fun ways to work and play hard. Sealed concrete floors, walls lined with intriguing art and fun references to local culture including artistic beer jugs displayed on the walls are complemented by ambient lighting and comfortable accents of colour. The Living Room also features abundant power and USB outlets, and furiously fast and free Wi-Fi for ultimate connectivity. A high-energy yet cosy space for gatherings, special events or cocktails, the lounge plays host to eclectic upbeat music that sets just the right mood.
Special opening rates at the new Moxy Frankfurt Eschborn begin at €69. Two more Moxy Hotels are due to open in Europe this year: Moxy Berlin Ostbahnhof and Moxy Aberdeen Airport. A further five Moxy Hotels are expected to open in Europe in London, Frankfurt, Oslo and Vienna during 2017.
