Directed by Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows the story of a young English writer named Christian who falls in love with Satine, the cabaret star at the Moulin Rouge. Although she is promised to another man, the pair try to make their relationship work while balancing romance and showbusiness. Just like the film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical celebrates some of the greatest popular music of the last 50 years. The new production features many of the iconic songs from the movie and also includes recent hits released since the film premiered 18 years ago.
