A MALDIVIAN ADVENTURE AT JUMEIRAH VITTAVELI
The idyllic Jumeirah Vittaveli resort in the Maldives has launched a new ‘Maldivian Adventure’ package. Perfect for a family break during Easter or throughout the year, a number of excursions, cooking classes and wellness treatments have been combined to introduce guests to the best of local traditions.

Whether for an intimate escape or an indulgent family retreat, Jumeirah Vittaveli offers unmatched diversity, subtle luxury and personalised exploration.
Far from the clutches of stressful city life, Jumeirah Vittaveli is nestled in a spot of outstanding beauty. As families arrive, the traditional beat of the Bodu Beru drums welcomes them to the island. Younger guests can make full use of complimentary access to the Kuda Koli Kids’ Club and Teen lounge, offering culturally connected activities from cooking classes and fish feeding to an island treasure hunt.

Guests can bring a taste of Maldivian cuisine home by joining the culinary team for a cooking class to discover authentic local cooking techniques and combinations.
Adults can explore the island’s winding lanes on bicycles and all villas offer private swimming pools and private beach access. With an abundance of coconut trees lining the island, families can also enjoy a ‘Coconut Oil’ tutorial to learn how locals use the fruit for hair care, skin care, utensils and instruments. For further insight into local life, guests can enjoy a guided snorkelling tour of the coral reef surrounding Jumeirah Vittaveli; one of the healthiest and most abundant in the Malé atoll, then unwind with a sunset cruise on a traditional Dhoni boat.
Guests can bring a taste of Maldivian cuisine home by joining the culinary team for a cooking class to discover authentic local cooking techniques and combinations. Fresh ingredients are also a speciality at the Talise Spa. Treatment ingredients are hand-harvested by local communities using traditional farming methods. As part of the ‘Maldivian Adventure’ couples will be treated to a massage for two.
The ‘Maldivian Adventure’ is available for 2015 from USD 1,500 or approximately GBP 970 per night, for a minimum of four nights, for two adults and two children.

At Jumeirah Vitaveli every detail has been meticulously crafted to inspire journeys of discovery and enjoyment.
