MAKE A DATE WITH THE PROM MUSICAL ON BROADWAY THIS FALL
A bold new addition to The Broadway Collection, The Prom officially opens at the Longacre Theatre on November 15, 2018. The uplifting production stars Tony Award-nominee Brooks Ashmanskas, Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel and two-time Tony Award-nominee Christopher Sieber, leading a cast of 27.
The Prom follows the story of an Indiana student who wants to take her girlfriend to the high school’s big dance, much to the contempt of the town’s parents. When four former Broadway stars hear of the news surrounding this small town, they take the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. What ensues is a comedy filled with laughs, heart and over-the-top dance numbers.
Multigenerational travelers will experience relatable moments they cherish from their days of school dances while rooting for these inspiring characters. The heartwarming production will have audience members of all ages laughing – and cheering – in their seats.
