INTERCONTINENTAL ROBERTSON QUAY TO OPEN IN SINGAPORE IN SEPTEMBER
Set to open this September, InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay will be the only five-star hotel in the historic waterfront neighborhood in Singapore, according to the luxury hotel group. The hotel is currently accepting reservations for its opening September 1.
Overlooking the Singapore River, the hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to over 50 dining, entertainment, and shopping sites. It’s also easily accessible to the Marina Bay area, business district, and Singapore Changi Airport.
All 225 rooms and suites offer complimentary Wi-Fi, DIY cocktail kits, and Nespresso coffee makers. For those opting for the club rooms, guests gain access to the exclusive Club InterContinental Lounge which offers complimentary gourmet food and drinks, afternoon tea, and specialty cocktails. Club guests are also offered an hour of complimentary access to The Cellar which connects directly to a private outdoor terrace.
Guests have five dining options in the hotel including Pubilco, a 350-seat Italian restaurant and cocktail bar that offers indoor and alfresco dining as well as a New York Wolfgang Steakhouse. Other facilities on the property include a 24-hour fitness center and outdoor lap pool.
For business travelers, there are two meeting spaces available. On-site event planning professionals assist before, during, and after meetings are held.
It’s been a busy year for the international luxury brand. Earlier this summer, InterContinental Los Angeles opened inside of California’s tallest building. It’s currently the largest InterContinental hotel in the Americas with 889 rooms and occupies 40 of the building’s 73 floors. Following the Singapore opening, the InterContinental Washington D.C. is set to open in October.
