How Las Vegas is celebrating America 250
Las Vegas is preparing one of the most spectacular tributes to America250 in the country, transforming the city into a summer-long celebration packed with fireworks, entertainment, sports, pool parties and exclusive travel deals.
From June through August 2026, visitors can expect eight consecutive Saturdays of synchronized fireworks, major concerts, new hotel launches and citywide festivities that only Las Vegas can deliver.
America250 fireworks light up the Las Vegas skyline
The centerpiece of the celebration is the America250 Fireworks Celebration, which begins on June 6 and runs every Saturday through July 25. Each eight-minute show starts at 9 p.m. PDT and is synchronized to music broadcast on local radio stations, while additional programming appears on the Exosphere at Sphere.
The scale of the event makes it the largest summer fireworks celebration in the United States, with launches taking place from multiple rooftops across the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas.
The schedule includes Caesars Palace, Treasure Island and The Venetian Resort on June 6 and July 25. MGM Grand, ARIA Resort & Casino and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino host the June 13 and July 11 shows. Downtown Las Vegas joins the celebration on June 20 with fireworks from The Plaza Hotel & Casino, Binion’s Gambling Hall and Fremont Street Experience parking garages. Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas and The STRAT host the June 27 and July 18 displays.
The biggest night of all arrives on July 4, when nine rooftops across the Strip ignite in a fully synchronized patriotic show featuring coordinated red, white and blue lighting and a 30-minute marquee takeover.
Pack for Vegas summer campaign launches
To match the excitement, Las Vegas has launched its new “Pack for Vegas” campaign, inviting travelers to experience headline residencies, new attractions, nightlife and nonstop entertainment.
According to Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Las Vegas is reaching new heights this summer with fireworks, all-inclusive deals, A-list entertainment and unforgettable experiences.
New hotels and attractions opening in Las Vegas
One of the most talked-about launches is The Vanderpump Hotel, Lisa Vanderpump’s first-ever hotel on the Strip. Opening in May, the property offers 188 luxury rooms designed with glamour and comfort in mind.
Another major debut is OMNIA Dayclub & Skybar at Caesars Palace, a new entertainment complex opening with performances by Fisher, Rüfüs Du Sol and Martin Garrix.
Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay also arrives this summer, bringing a sports-driven dayclub concept where fans can watch live games in an energetic outdoor environment.
Las Vegas concerts and residencies in summer 2026
Music lovers will have no shortage of reasons to visit. Las Vegas will host an enormous lineup of stars throughout summer 2026.
Mary J. Blige begins her residency at Dolby Live in May and returns in July. Jonas Brothers perform multiple nights in May, while BTS headlines Allegiant Stadium with several dates. No Doubt plays Sphere in May and June, followed by Kenny Chesney later in June.
In July, New Kids On The Block return to Dolby Live, Ed Sheeran performs at Allegiant Stadium, Fuerza Regida arrives for a stadium show, and Backstreet Boys begin their highly anticipated “Into the Millennium” run at Sphere.
August continues the momentum with AC/DC, KAROL G, Guns N’ Roses, Kelly Clarkson and Boyz II Men.
Soccer celebrations and sports events
With global football excitement in the air, Las Vegas is also embracing match season. Caesars Entertainment launches Soccer on The Strip from June 11 to July 19, with viewing experiences in sportsbooks, lounges and bars across the city.
Circa Resort & Casino will screen top matches inside the world’s largest sportsbook and at Stadium Swim, while Fontainebleau Las Vegas hosts premium watch parties across several venues.
Sports fans can also catch the reigning WNBA champions Las Vegas Aces and regular-season baseball games featuring the Athletics at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Downtown Las Vegas keeps the party going
Fremont Street Experience continues its popular Downtown Rocks free concert series through summer, with artists including Lee Brice, Crossfade, Fuel and Finger Eleven performing live.
Combined with the Downtown fireworks dates, this gives visitors even more reasons to explore beyond the Strip.
