HARD ROCK HOTEL TO OPEN IN TENERIFE IN LATE 2016
Following in the footsteps of the super deluxe Ibiza opening, Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife will be the brand’s second European hotel
A new five-star Hard Rock Hotel has been announced to open Tenerife next autumn. While the brand is incredibly well known, thanks to a string of hotel openings and a hugely successful global chain of restaurants, this will be just the second Hard Rock Hotel to open in Europe. The new 624-room beachfront resort, located on the Canary Island’s sunny southern coast near Adeje, is a total renovation of Palladium Hotel Group’s Fiesta Hotel Playa Paraíso complex. The resort will also include 266 suites split across its two towers, namely Oasis and Nirvana.
Of the rooms, the most interesting are on The Rock Royalty Level, located on floors 14-16 of Nirvana. The “rock star-worthy” suites include exclusive services such as a private lounge on level 16 with views of the Atlantic. The 154-square-metre Rock Star Suite ensures paramount views with its glass-walled terrace and also includes a 50-square-metre living room and master bedroom. All throughout, the hotel and suites will include notable music memorabilia, as is customary at Hard Rock properties.
Leisure options are abundant with three pools, saltwater lagoon access, concert arena and a beach club with Balinese beds. There’s also a Rock Spa, Body Rock gym and a Rock Shop where guests can snap up merchandise designed specially for the Tenerife resort. Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife’s guests will be able to choose from wide array of leisure options, including three pools, access to a natural saltwater lagoon and a recreation area featuring a concert arena, main stage for visiting artists and a beach club complete with Balinese beds, all just steps from the property.
The six restaurants will also rival the culinary hotspots already dotted around the island, with traditional Spanish tapas, Asian cuisine and a steakhouse, to name a few. There’s also an all-day buffet, sports bar and The Beach Club, perched on the edge of the natural seawater lagoon. Whatever the weather, the rooftop sky lounge bar on level 17 will allow guests to take in the Tenerife skyline and sea views alike, including Spain’s volcanic mountain, Teide, and the Canary Island of La Gomera.
