CRUISE THE WORLD IN 116 DAYS
Ultra-luxury Silversea Cruises is now accepting reservations for its World Cruise 2017, an exclusive 116-day ocean voyage from San Francisco to Monte Carlo aboard Silver Whisper.
On January 6, 2017, Silver Whisper will begin her epic world cruise. She’ll sail across San Francisco Bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge, a gleaming harbinger of wonderful things to come — tropical edens across the vast Pacific, smouldering Antipodean landscapes, Bali, Bangkok … and beyond to India, the kingdoms of the Persian Gulf, the antiquity of Egypt and Jordan, and a covey of Mediterranean treasures. By journey’s end, she’ll have called at 62 ports in 25 countries in 116 days.
When you cruise aboard a ship with only a few hundred fellow guests, you can connect more authentically with the lands you visit, exploring hidden corners and immersing yourself more fully in the lifestyle of the people. And you’ll be sailing with kindred travellers from around the globe, sharing their warm fellowship in an ambiance of pampered elegance and privilege.
Guests sailing the full 116 days of World Cruise 2017 will enjoy a variety of special amenities, including a gala Bon Voyage reception, dinner and overnight stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco, baggage valet service, business class air and transfers (between airport, hotel, and Silver Whisper), a $4,000 Onboard Spending Credit (per double-occupancy suite), complimentary laundry service, and commemorative gifts. Plus, Silversea is enhancing the perks in 2017 with the addition of complimentary dry cleaning service and free unlimited Wi-Fi for all full-cruise guests.

During the cruise, guests will enjoy the opportunity to explore the site of China’s famed terra-cotta army of warriors in Xian.
In addition, three shoreside events will be available on a complimentary basis to full-cruise guests. These events offer the opportunity to explore the site of China’s famed terra-cotta army of warriors in Xian on an overnight tour from Shanghai; witness free-roaming exotic animals on Sir Bani Yas island off the coast of Abu Dhabi, followed by a sumptuous lunch at the island’s elegant resort; and dance back to the 1940s with live music at a nostalgic dinner served amid the planes and heroes of Hangar 37, the entry point to Hawaii’s Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor.
Also, two Silversea Experiences will be complimentary for guests sailing 50 or more days: a festive beach party featuring lunch and entertainment set on the powdery white sands of Boracay Island and an exclusive presentation at Malta’s Teatru Manoel, a beautifully restored 18th-century theater.
Guests will also have the chance to meet and mingle with distinguished destination experts, academics, journalists, diplomats and other specialists. Local entertainment, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and regional specialties will provide further immersion in each global destination.
All-inclusive fares for World Cruise 2017 start at $61,550 per person, based on double occupancy.
