Once we arrived at Dubai Airport to catch our long distance flight for Singapore (a short time ago), we had the best surprise of our entire trip. Due to our Media affiliated position and the inquires made by World Travel Agency in Romania, our tickets were upgraded from Economy to Business Class.
We have travelled Business Class several times with different companies, but never with Emirates. Since we saw that amazing Jennifer Aniston commercial we wondered how it will be to get the Hollywood star treatment and to have your seat reserved in this area of the plane. The whole experience was… amazing.
Flat-Beds
The best feature are the seats, who will transform into flat-beds with a single push of a button. Once you have finished sending e-mails (yes, there is WI-FI in the Plane available for only 1 Euro/ 400 MB) and you want to get some sleep, recline your seat into a fully flat bed to arrive feeling refreshed at your destination.

Dining

Award-winning chefs have created a range of healthy meal options with an emphasis on preserving the original flavours and essential vitamins, whilst avoiding the addition of saturated and trans fats, salt and added sugars. In preparing these dishes, they are using cooking techniques and styles associated with healthy eating-grilling, poaching, stewing, boiling, baking and the unique sous vide ‘under vacuum’, a technique that is intended to maintain the integrity of fresh ingredients by heating them for an extended period at relatively low temperatures.

Of course we ordered also dessert. And so should you! The cakes are amazing and we got the exactly same feeling as eating dessert in a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop.

There is also a separate menu for drinks. We chose to celebrate our Business Class trip with Moet Champagne and finest Australian white wines. And a good Cappuccino in the morning, with comes with Godiva chocolate (one of my favorites).

We are huge fans of tv shows and we were surprised to find on their inflight entertainment not one of two episodes from one tv show (as you will usually find), but full seasons of over 40 tv shows. We had the chance to catch up and watch the final two episodes of the first season of AMC’s zombie drama “Fear of the Walking Dead” and to discover “Witnesses”, a french tv we have never heard until then and we really enjoyed it.

You will receive a kit bag on all long-haul night flights and on flights over 10 hours to help you arrive refreshed.
Our flight lasted only 7 hours, but Bvlgari amneties could be found in the bathroom. Separate perfumes for Men and Women, body lotion and near your seat you have your own kit with tooth paste, tooth brush and even a comfy pair of cotton socks.
