CELEBRATE THE MONTH OF LOVE AT FOUR SEASONS RESORTS THAILAND

News

The season for romance is here as Thailand’s lush tropical landscape is bathed in blossoms, signalling the beginning of spring in Thailand. “Make this February one to remember at Four Seasons resorts across wonderful Thailand.

Splendid in Every Season

The evergreen Mae Rim valley of Chiang Mai is particularly lively during spring, as the air is crisp and the landscape is flush with flowers. Set within this backdrop, the Resort’s Private Pool Villas are the ultimate expression of romance, complete with a private garden-side pool and outdoor dining sala. “Begin your Mae Rim Romance with a bottle of bubbly on arrival, and allow us to pamper you further with a private dinner for two, and a luxuriant 90-minute couples session at our Wara Cheewa Spa,” shares Anthony Tschudin, Resort Manager.

Whether it is Dinner in the Rice Fields, a delectable set-menu or Thai-style BBQ at North by Four Seasons, or even sundowners at Ratree Bar, there’s an aphrodisiac or two waiting to be discovered as part of the curated menus.  “This is the season for strawberries in Northern Thailand, and our food and beverage menus highlight this fresh fruit,” shares Executive Chef Jaeyoung Lee. From fresh and frozen strawberry cocktails to an afternoon tea set, look for a little deep red to complement the season.

Seaside Romance

Perched above the azure waters of the Gulf of Thailand, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui sets the stage for a romantic getaway. “We’re revving up the mood for a perfect Island Romance,” smiles Alessandro Baccarelli, Resort Manager. “Toast to each other with sparkling wine on arrival, then spend quality time together as our chefs create an intimate dining experience on your private deck. Later, wind down with cocktails at CoCoRum and a relaxing soak in your villa’s bath.”

With a cliffside setting that drops dramatically down from the tree-tops to the white sandy beach below, guests are spoiled for choice selecting the perfect place to serenade their loved one. “Tucked away into a private cove with the sand beneath your feet, the Once in a Blue Moon dinner is the ultimate expression of romance,” shares Shanmuga Raja Ravi, Executive Sous Chef. Alternatively, enjoy a seven-course extravaganza just for two at the Koh Private Chef’s Table, with wine pairings and special insights into the meal from the chef himself.

Glamping Together

What better gift than some me time? “Go off the grid with Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle in the bamboo jungles to celebrate this month,” smiles Macall Newman, Camp Manager. Guests who stay two nights or longer with the Adventure Package are treated to a memorable experience including long-tail boat excursions along the Ruak River, wine and cheese tasting, and stunning sunsets. “Whether it is in the privacy of your tent or a top our restored Land Rover, we have the perfect spot for you to catch the setting sun and spend a quiet moment or two,” she adds. For a true taste of the jungle, the camp setting offers several private dining venues, including a hideout by the river where guests can enjoy cocktails and dinner.

For Wellbeing

Extending the theme of self-care and mindfulness, treat a loved one like royalty at Wara Cheewa Spa in Chiang Mai, with a specially-curated package that includes a 60-min rose body scrub, a 15-minute floral bath and a 105-minute herbal compress massage. The highlight of this experience is the Chulalongkorn Rose – named by Princess Dararasami – that blooms during this season and is grown specially for the Resort.

The Secret Garden Spa is taking a vintage route with 90-minutes of pampering – a candle-lit rose-petal bath, coconut-oil massage and even a glass of Louis Roederer Rose Brut Vintage 2012 that will add a perfect blush to the celebration.

Drawing on the mood of the season, Jasjit Assi, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui adds, “Spend some precious time together and enjoy our curated dining and welllbeing experiences. We promise intuitive service with genuine heart.”
