Their in-depth approach shows guests how to create their very own cocktail with the help of their most valued memories.
The next “Behind the Curtains” cocktail courses will take place on 26 June and 10 July 2015 and cost EUR 65.

As the highlight of the training, an individual cocktail is created for every participant, basing on the same principle that is used for all of the drinks at The Curtain Club: the guests think back to their most beautiful experiences and remember the corresponding smells and tastes. With these memories, the corresponding spirits, concentrates and syrups are selected and a very personal and unique cocktail can be created.
“For example, a memory of playing in the woods can be translated with pine cone syrup and berry liqueur. And the smell of fresh grass after the first summer rain can be captured with sake, vetiver and ylang ylang”, Arnd Heissen explains. The next “Behind the Curtains” cocktail courses take place on 26 June and 10 July 2015 starting at 7:00 p.m. They are additionally available for groups upon request. The number of participants is limited to eight persons. The price of 65.00 Euros per person includes the “Trend Drinks” book by Arnd Heissen.
The tasting “Fragrances Experience” costs 120.00 Euros per participant.

For one night the bar Fragrances opens its doors for an exclusive cocktail tasting. All of the cocktails served here are based on selected perfumes by renowned manufacturers. During the “Fragrances Experience”, guests rely entirely on their senses and get a comprehensive insight into the high art of mixology while tasting the fine drinks. Corresponding with the creative drinks, the kitchen team serves bar snacks with a composition that reflects the perfume aromas and perfectly complements the cocktails. The tasting “Fragrances Experience” is only bookable upon request for groups of seven or more and costs 120.00 Euros per participant.
